Runs During The First Half
- Pittsburg State had outscored KU 6-5 right before the Jayhawks hit three straight three pointers to make the score 35-15 (score was 26-15). The three-pointers were by Chalmers (2) and Reed (1).
- After Pitt State scored seven straight points to cut the margin to 35-22, KU went on a 10-0 run to gain a 45-22 advantage.
