Game Notes
-- Kansas trailed DePaul 13-12 with 11:12 remaining in the first half, before going on a 24-1 run over the next 8:49 to take a 36-14 lead with 2:23 left in the first period.
-- The Jayhawks outscored DePaul 48-20 in the paint.
-- KU also outdid DePaul in fast break points 25-5.
-- DePaul's 44 second-half points are the most scored in a half by a Kansas opponent this season.
-- Four Kansas players scored in double figures, marking the sixth time this season four or more players have posted 10 or more points.
-- Senior forward Sasha Kaun led Kansas with a season-high 15 points in the win. It marked the points for Kaun since he registered 16 versus Oklahoma State on January 10, 2007.
-- Kaun made 6-of-7 shots on the afternoon, good for 85.7 percentage. Kaun has shot better than 50 percent in every game this season.

-- Senior guard Russell Robinson tied a career high with nine assists. Robinson also dished nine assists on two other occasions, most recently versus UMKC on Nov. 11, 2007.
-- Junior guard Mario Chalmers narrowly missed his first career triple-double as he finished the game with 12 points, nine rebounds and seven assists. Kansas has never had a player record a triple-double, but the last player to threaten accomplishing the feat was Aaron Miles who had 10 points, eight rebounds and nine assists against Richmond on January 22, 2004.
-- Chalmers set a new career high with seven steals, besting his previous career high of six which he set in KU's last game versus Eastern Washington. The seven steals is the most by a Jayhawk since Aaron Miles had seven thefts against Michigan State on Nov. 25, 2003.
-- Chalmers' nine rebounds set a new career high. He had previously pulled down seven rebounds four times during his Kansas career.
-- With three three-point field goals versus DePaul, junior guard Brandon Rush moved into a 10th place tie with J.R. Giddens with 137 in his career.
-- Rush and fellow junior guard Mario Chalmers are now tied with Keith Langford for 12th on the Kansas career three-point field goal attempts chart with 311.
-- Sophomore guard Sherron Collins returned to the Kansas line-up after missing the last six games with an injury. Collins, who was KU's leading scorer before being sidelined, turned in six points in 13 minutes.
-- The Jayhawks recorded 25 assists, marking the seventh time this season they have assisted on 20 or more baskets.
