Kansas' win over Georgia Tech...

...Made Kansas 11-0 for the first time since the 2004-05 season, when the Jayhawks opened the year 14-0.

...Made KU 11-0 for the 11th time in school history.

...Gave Kansas its second straight and fifth win overall against Georgia Tech and made the all-time series 5-1 in favor of the Jayhawks.

...Improved KU to 32-21 against current membership of the ACC.

...Made Kansas 2-0 in road games this season.

...Improved head coach Bill Self to 116-29 at Kansas, 323-134 overall and 3-1 against Georgia Tech.

... Made KU 1,917-782 all-time.

Notes

·         Senior G Russell Robinson led KU in scoring with a season-high 17 points.  It was his third double-figure scoring game of the year and surpassed his previous high of 15 against UMKC.

·         Robinson's three steals moved his career total to 191 and moved him past Kevin Pritchard (1987-90) for sixth on the all-time KU steals list.

·         Robinson's three 3-pointers marked the second game in a row and the fourth time this season he hit multiple treys in a game.  His biggest three of the game was a long-range shot with the shot clock running out that put KU up 59-47 with 6:17 remaining.

·         Junior G Brandon Rush blocked a career-high tying four shots, which he also did against Toledo on Dec. 9, 2006.  The four blocks doubled his season total to eight.

·         Rush's four blocks tied the KU player season high, also done by Sasha Kaun against UMKC.

·         Senior C Sasha Kaun blocked three shots to mark his third-straight game with multiple blocks.  He has seven games with multiple blocks this season.

·         KU's team total of nine blocks tied its season high also done against Northern Arizona.

·         Kaun drained 5-of-6 free throws and has hit 14 of his last 19 charities in the last five games for a 73.4 percentage.

·         Darrel Arthur, who had previously scored in double figures in every game, had his minutes limited due to foul trouble.  He finished with six points in 19 minutes - his second fewest minutes of the season.

·         The Jayhawks improved to 3-0 in games decided by five or fewer points.

·         Kansas did not have a shot blocked for the second straight game.

·         KU's six offensive boards tied its season low also done against Arizona.  Despite the low number, the Jayhawks led 13-4 in second chance points.

·         The Tuesday matchup was Kansas' first of the season.  The Jayhawks have played every day of the week except for Monday so far in the 2007 season.
