TEAM NOTES:
--Howard's 34 points scored were the fewest by a KU opponent since Alcorn State scored 31 in a game at Allen Fieldhouse on Dec. 2, 2009.
--Kansas held Howard to just 13 points in the first half. It was the second-straight game that KU has held its opponent to 13 points in the first half.
--It marked the first time the Jayhawks have held back-to-back opponents under 20 points in a half since the 2007 season (Washburn, 18; Northern Arizona, 10).
--The 81 points allowed by KU over the last two games is the fewest in a two-game stretch since before the 1988-89 season.
--The 55-point margin of victory for KU is its highest since defeating Ohio, 98-41, on Nov. 26, 2010.
--Howard's 22.2 percent shooting from the field is the lowest by a KU opponent since Dayton shot the same percentage in the NCAA Tournament on March 22, 2009.
--Howard's 12 total field goals are the fewest by a KU opponent since Alcorn State had 12 in a game on Dec. 2, 2009.
--Howard also set a season low by a KU opponent in free throws (seven) and three-point field goal percentage (16.7).
--The Bison's 24 turnovers and 16 offensive rebounds were season highs by a Jayhawk opponent this season.
--KU's 52.9 percent shooting from three-point range tied for the team's season high with the Ohio State game.

INDIVIDUAL NOTES:
--Freshman F Merv Lindsay scored nine points, marking his first points in a Kansas uniform. Lindsay also recorded the first rebounds (three) of his career.
--Junior F Thomas Robinson scored nine points, which is the first time he has been held below 10 points this season.
--Senior F Conner Teahan's 13 points marked the second-highest total of his career.
--Teahan's five rebounds match a season high.
--Junior C Jeff Withey's six blocked shots were his second-highest total of the season.
--Senior G Tyshawn Taylor's five rebounds were a season high and matched the second-highest total of his career.
--Freshman G Naadir Tharpe recorded a season-best five assists in the game.
--Sophomore G Niko Roberts set career highs with two assists and two steals.
--Junior F Kevin Young's three steals set a season high and were one shy of his career high.
