ESPN GameDay at Allen Fieldhouse

ESPN's College GameDay brought its traveling show to Allen Fieldhouse Saturday for three shows that showcased the matchup between KU and Texas.

Analyst Digger Phelps pumped up the crowd before the first show Saturday morning.

Students and cheerleaders were on hand to show the national audience their support for the Jayhawks.

While Digger Phelps was touched up, fellow analyst Jay Bilas had some fun joking with the production crew.

When the lights went on though, Phelps and Bilas were all business as were the cheering Jayhawk fans.

The GameDay show was set in the trophy case area in the east lobby of Allen Fieldhouse where the long heritage of KU basketball was on display.

KU coach Bill Self shared his thoughts with host Rece Davis before Self's live interview Saturday morning.

Coach Self's wit kept host Davis smiling.

Coach Self shared his thoughts on KU's game with Texas.

Davis held up a decibel meter to gauge the KU fan support.

And, the fans on hand made sure the meter pegged off the scale.
