Mario Chalmers whipped a bounce pass into the lane.

 Chalmers flew downcourt and unloaded a pass for a fastbreak basket.

 Chalmers scooped in a shot for two of his 15 points.
Chalmers broke in for a steal.

 Jeff Hawkins drove to the basket.

 Darnell Jackson celebrated a big dunk.
Jackson pulled down one of his five rebounds.

 Russell Robinson and Jackson combined to trap OSU's JamesOn Curry.

 Sasha Kaun pulled down five rebounds.
Kaun and Jackson combined to block the path to the basket.

 Kaun led KU with 16 points.

 Kaun went up for an inside bucket.
In the hard-fought game, Kaun was fouled battling for a rebound.

 Russell Robinson dished off a pass on a drive.

 Robinson looked for the open man after he was double-teamed.
Robinson reeled back after being cracked on the head by Curry.

 Robinson held a towel to his bloody eye.

 Brandon Rush went up for a rebound.
Rush powered his way to the basket.

 Rush came up with a key late jumper to help KU win the Big 12 contest.

 Coach Bill Self and Chalmers discussed strategy.

 Referees twice had to use replay to determine key plays in the close fight with the Cowboys.

 Bradon Rush congratulated the wounded Robinson for toughing it out.
