Mario Chalmers twisted his way to the basket as KU defeated Nebraska to advance to the Big 12 Tournament finals Sunday vs. Texas.

Chalmers fired a jumper for two of his 18 points.

Chalmers' athletic moves kept the Nebraska defense at bay.

Chalmers also dished out seven assists.

C.J. Giles battled for a loose ball.

Giles hit a short turn-around jumper.

Jeff Hawkins came off the bench to spark the Jayhawks in the first half.

Hawkins reached in for a tie up.

Darnell Jackson powered his way to the basket. Jackson came up with 13 points.

Julian Wright and Sasha Kaun went up to stop a Nebraska shot.

Kaun used his left arm for position on a shot.

Russell Robinson canned 13 points for the Jayhawks.

Even though Robinson picked up a charge on this play, the sophomore point guard's agressive play helped KU advance.

Coach Bill Self used a timeout to direct his team.

Coach Self called out an offensive set.

Julian Wright slammed home another thunderous dunk.

Hawkins and Chalmers congratulated each other after being removed from the game.
