Wayne Simien battled underneath against Kansas State's Jeremiah Massey during Friday's Big 12 Tournament in Kansas City.

Jeff Hawkins launched a long-range three-point shot. The reserve canned two treys.

Alex Galindo blocked the shot of Kansas State's Fred Peete.

J.R. Giddens scored 14 points for KU.

Aaron Miles' 18 points helped KU defeat the Wildcats for the 31st straight game.

Michael Lee was fouled by KSU's Jeremiah Massey while scrambling for a loose ball.

Coach Bill Self kept a close eye on the Jayhawks who played the game without senior Keith Langford.

Whenever KSU drew close, Wayne Simien was there to can a basket for KU.

J.R. Giddens hit the floor in a scramble for loose ball.

Wayne Simien's strength inside helped him score 28 points and pull down 14 rebounds.

Aaron Miles canned key outside shots for the Jayhawks early in the second half.

As the clock wound down, Alex Galindo could enjoy his contribution to the KU victory.
