 Wayne Simien lofted his soft hook over Terrence Crawford.

 Any trip to the basket resulted in a tangle of arms late in the game.
Jeff Hawkins and Alex Galindo readied for congratulations after both hit three-point shots late in the second half.

 Coach Bill Self leaned back and received an update on the foul situation late in the game.

 Giddens three-pointer from the wing pulled KU to within a point, but late OSU free throws and a missed KU final shot resulted in the final margin.
OSU coach Eddie Sutton took time to congratulate Wayne Simien on his outstanding performance.
