The KU team, led by Championship MVP Mario Chalmers, celebrated their victory over Texas.

 The players jumped with joy during the celebration.

 Senior Stephen Vinson led the cheers in a team huddle.
The four seniors enjoyed ending their Big 12 careeres as champions.

 The image of Coach Bill Self joy shined through the Big 12 Championship trophy presented by the league commissioner.

 Coach Self took his turn dancing with the players.
Chancellor Robert Hemenway, Director of Athletics Lew Perkins and Coach Self congratulated Mario Chalmers.

 The celebration kicked off with championship shirts and hats.

Darnell Jackson made sure everyone in Dallas knew that Kansas was the day's big winner.

 Russell Robinson managed to get a shot up even after being fouled.

 Robinson was congratulated by KU fans after the sophomore scored 14 points.

Rush's three-point shots early in the game got KU off to a fast start.

 Wright's late, dramatic 360 degree slam dunk served as an exclamation point for the victory.
Wright and KU soared over Texas.

 Coach Self congratulated the team on its play Sunday and throughout the tournament.

 Players, coaches, family and staff cheered the announcement of KU's seed in the NCAA tournament.
