KU coach Bill Self watched the Jayhawks take on Bucknell in the first round of the NCAA Tournament in Oklahoma City.

 Coach Self called on Keith Langford to enter the game early in the first half.

 Wayne Simien lofted an entry pass to Christian Moody.
Michael Lee's daring drive helped spur KU's late first half run.

 Lee roared with pride after hitting the bucket. The senior closed out his KU career with 18 points.

 Wayne Simien slammed home the first of two dunks that helped pull KU to within one of Bucknell at 47-46.
Simien was congratulated for his dunks as he came to the bench after Bucknell called time out.

 Aaron Miles was fouled on a drive as KU fought back late in the game.
