LAWRENCE, Kan. – Add former Kansas guards Aaron Miles and Brady Morningstar to the list of Jayhawks who have recently signed contracts to play professional basketball. Miles inked with Krasnie Krilya in Samara, Russia, and Morningstar is going to play for A.G.O. Rethymno in Crete. Currently, there are 17 Jayhawks who played under KU head coach Bill Self scheduled to play professionally in 2011-12. "My agent sought a team that was looking for a shooting guard that could defend and now I’m heading to Crete this weekend," KU 2011 senior guard Brady Morningstar said. "I’m pretty sure I’ll know some of the players on the other teams and there are some college players on my team." "I’m glad I’m getting the opportunity, like many of my former KU teammates, to keep on playing," Morningstar added. "I’m grateful to Coach Self, Coach (Danny) Manning, Coach (Joe) Dooley and Coach (Kurtis) Townsend for getting me to where I’m at today."
