Named captain prior to season. 2010: Academic All-Big 12 First Team; John Mackey Award Watch List, KU tight end of the year; KU Offensive Player of the Week (vs. Texas A&M) ... 2009: Academic All-Big 12 First Team. 2011 (Sr.) Played in 11 games, making ten starts at tight end ... Made career-high seven catches for 93 yards and a touchdown at Oklahoma State ... His 93 yards included a career-long 35-yard reception ...
