2012 (Jr.): Switched from defensive line to offensive line during spring practices... Saw action in all 12 games at right guard... Started final 10 games, making first career start against TCU.

2011 (So.): Played in 11 of the 12 games in 2011 season ... Recorded a career-best three tackles at Georgia Tech, including two solo stops ... Also made a tackle behind the line of scrimmage ... Switched from offensive line to defensive tackle prior to the season ... Tallied first career sack at Iowa State.

2010 (RFr.): Named KU compete team defensive player of the week vs. Oklahoma State... Did not see any action during the season.

2009 (Fr.): Redshirted the season... Named KU defensive scout player of the week vs. Colorado and Nebraska.

High School: A three-year letterwinner... A two-time all-state selection and a three-time all-district honoree... Earned Super Team second team honors... Played both defensive end and tight end... Recorded 120 tackles, 25 tackles for loss, 21 sacks and had five fumble recoveries... Team was 7-4 and finished third in the district his senior season... Also played basketball.
