Career Honors: 2012: Named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll during spring semester. 2012 (Sr.): Played in all 12 games... Made 15 tackles on the season, including 2.5 TFLs for a loss of eight yards... Recorded a half sack... Collected a season-high three tackles against TCU, his highest total since 2010... Added two tackles at Northern Illinois... Collected a pair of tackles against Oklahoma State... Tallied an assisted TFL at Oklahoma... Registered a pair of stops at Baylor... Recorded a solo TFL at Texas Tech... Tacked on an assisted stops against Iowa State and West Virginia. 2011 (Jr.): Started KU's first two contests at defensive tackle... Made three tackles and recovered a fumble against McNeese State... Injured in the first quarter against Northern Illinois and missed the rest of the 2011 season. 2010 (So.): Played in all 12 games at defensive tackle... Earned a start at Iowa State and responded with a career-high five tackles... Made 12 tackles on the year... Had one tackle for loss during the year, while also breaking up a pass at Baylor and forcing a fumble the next week at Kansas State... Made two tackles against Texas A&M. High School: An all-state first team selection by the Tulsa World and Rivals.com... Named all-metro after his senior year... Was a three-time all-district selection...
