2010 (Fr.): Did not see any action as a backup kicker. 2009 (RS): Redshirted the season, but traveled as the backup kicker during the last half of the year. High School: As a senior he was named first-team all-area, all-conference, all-district and all-east central coaches assocation... Was named the IAFC special teams player of the year... Earned academic all-conference honors... As a junior he was first-team all-coonference and all-district, while earning second team all-area and all-east central coaches association honors... As a senior he made 42 of 43 PATs with two field goals, 35 touchbacks and three successful onside kicks... As a junior he hit 43 of 46 PATs with two field goals and 14 touchbacks... Also played soccer, rugby, wrestled and ran track... Was an all-state rugby selection. Personal: Born in Washington, Mo... Major is political science and would like to go to law school... Son of Mike and Mary Kalish... Has two brothers and one sister... Cousin, Kevin Kalish, was an All-America soccer player at St. Louis, was drafted by the Kansas City Wizards and is the head soccer coach at Southern Illinois... Main hobby is snowboarding. |
