Best tackle games were five stops against Kansas State and Colorado... Also had three tackles against Georgia Tech and at Baylor. 2009 (RS): Redshirted his first year at KU... Named KU Defensive Scout Player of the Week vs. UTEP. High School: A four-year starter at Trinity HS... Played safety and cornerback... Was an all-district first team selection as a senior... Earned all-district second team honors as a junior... Recorded 51 tackles and seven passes broken up as a senior... Team was 13-1, won the district championship and advanced to the state quarterfinal game his senior year... Trinity finished the regular season ranked first in the state his final season... Had 71 stops, five PBUs and an interception as a junior... Also played basketball.
