High School: A three-year lettewinner at Althoff HS... Played offensive tackle and defensive end... Ranked as the 11th-best player in the St. Louis metro area by the St. Louis Post Dispatch... As an offensive tackle, was an all-metro first-team selection, a two-time all-conference and three-time all-city choice... Helped lead the way for an offense which recorded 2,822 yards in nine games... Recorded 46 tackles and one sack on defense as a senior... Also wrestled in high school.
