2009 (Fr.): Played in the season-opener against Northern Colorado, but did not see action again... Was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma midway through the season.

2008 (RS): Redshirted the season.

High School: Played in the Max Emfinger All-American game... A Rivals.com Texas Top 100 selection... Played in six games as a senior, missing five contests... Had 29 tackles, including three for loss... Credited with eight QB hurries and one forced fumble... As a junior was credited with 70 tackles, including seven sacks... Competed in power lifting and wrestling.

Personal: Born in Palm Springs, Calif... Would like to become a stock broker or financial consultant after graduation... Son of David and Heather Marshall... Has one brother and two sisters... Brother played college football, as did a couple of cousins.
