2008 (RS): Redshirted after transferring from the Air Force Academy, where he played tight end in 2007.
High School: Was a four-year letterwinner as a tight end, defensive end and linebacker... Earned all-state, all-district and all-etro honors... Also played basketball, soccer and was a power lifter... A member of the Spanish National Honor Society.
Personal: Born in Houston, Texas... Son of Rob and Mary Martinovich... Has one sister... Father played football at Notre Dame and was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs... Plans to major in political science and get a minor in business... Would like to go to law school... Hobbies include reading and playing with his dog.
