Kansas football adds three new staff members and changes up roles on a few others.
Max Onyegbule returned to the Kansas football program in February 2013 to serve as a graduate assistant for the Jayhawk defense under head coach Charlie Weis.
Onyegbule, who was a three-year letterwinner on the KU defensive line, tallied 67 tackles while suiting up for the Jayhawks. During his time as a player in the program Kansas took home bowl wins following the 2007 (Orange) and 2008 (Insight) seasons.
Onyegbule, who earned his degree from Kansas in December 2010, had a strong senior season in 2009 as he registered 37 tackles, including 16 solo stops. He also had 11 tackles for a loss of 64 yards and six sacks. He was twice named to the Athletics Director's Honor Roll while he was at KU.
