Team Captain (2007) All-Big 12 Second Team (Coaches) (2006) 2006 (Jr.): Earned team's Bruce Kallmeyer Award given to the team's top special teams player... Also shared the Gayle Sayers award as most courageous player with Derek Fine... Appeared in all 12 games including one start vs. Colorado... An All-Big 12 Second Team selection at fullback by the league's head coaches... Averaged 3.9 yards per carry on 31 attempts... Finished second on the team with five rushing touchdowns... Posted season-bests of seven carries and 32 yards in KU's win over Iowa State... Also scored two touchdowns and rumbled for a season-long 17 yard run against the Cyclones... Returned four kickoff for 80 yards... Had at least one special teams tackle in eight games. 2005 (So.): Played in all 12 games while making two starts... Rushed the ball 22 times for 102 yards and one touchdown... A standout on several special teams units... Named the team's Most Improved Offensive Player at the postseason awards banquet. 2004 (Fr.): Saw action in all 11 games as a running back and on several special teams units... Chosen by the coaching staff as the special teams player of the game against Texas... As a member of the coverage unit, made seven total tackles including four of the solo variety...
