2010 (So.): Started on both offense and defense, while returning kickoffs during the year... Started eight of the first 10 games at wide receiver before starting at safety in the final two contests of the season... Offensively he tied for third on the team with 19 catches for 240 yards and one touchdown... Also rushed six times for 31 yards... Had a season-high five catches for 44 yards and a touchdown against then-No. 15 Georgia Tech... His 65 yards on four catches against Kansas State were a season-best... Caught at least one pass in each of the first nine games... Moved to safety where he started against Oklahoma State and Missouri... Recorded eight tackles against OSU and five vs. Missouri... Also had an interception and a pass broken up against Missouri... Had 16 tackles on the year... Returned 14 kickoffs for a 19.1 average with a long of 33.
2009 (Fr.): Named to The Sporting News Freshman All-Big 12 team... Played in every game as a true freshman, seeing time on offense, defense and special teams... Was the fourth wide receiver and started six games... Recorded 33 receptions for 318 yards on the year... Caught two passes for 49 yards, including a season-long 42-yarder in season-opener against Northern Colorado... Had a season-best seven catches for 46 yards against Southern Mississippi... Reached 40 receiving yards three times on the year as he also had 48 at UTEP... Caught at least one pass in 11 of 12 games (shutout against Nebraska)... Returned 21 kickoffs for an 18.8 average with a long of 47 yards... Also returned three punts for three yards... Saw time on defense for the last half of the season starting with the Colorado game... Recorded an interception and had a season-best three tackles at Texas Tech... Had five tackles on the year.
High School: Played running back and defensive back for three years at Scioto HS... An all-district second team selection... Recorded 37 tackles and one interception in seven games as a senior... Offensively, rushed 87 times for 432 yards and six touchdowns, while catching eight passes for 135 yards and one score... Completed four of five passes for 78 yards and another touchdown... Returned 12 punts for a 21.4 average and one touchdown and four kickoff returns for a 22.0 average... As a junior he led the team in rushing with 1,008 yards and 10 touchdowns on 173 carries in 10 games... Also had 27 receptions for 288 yards and two scores... Defensively he had 29 tackles, one interception and five PBUs... As a sophomore he was second on the team in rushing with 386 yards and five touchdowns on 87 carries... Caught 25 passes for 331 yards and two touchdowns as well... An all-district basketball selection... Was on the honor roll.
