By Weston Pletcher, Kansas Media Relations

Career Honors: 2010: KU Offensive Player of the Week vs. Iowa State.

2010 (Jr.): Named KU offensive player of the week vs. Iowa State... Original plan was to redshirt after transferring from Snow Junior College, but after injuries to Kale Pick and Jordan Webb, he was forced into action in the fourth quarter against Texas A&M in the seventh game of the year... Started the next four games before giving way to Webb for the season finale... Threw one incomplete pass against Texas A&M... Set school records for consecutive pass completions with 19 (in a two-game span) and in a single game with 17 vs. Colorado... Connected on 59.8 percent of his passes on the year for the seventh-best mark in school history... His 82.1 percent mark (23 of 28) vs. Colorado was the seventh-best single-game effort in KU history... In six games he was 61 of 102 for 554 yards and four touchdowns with five interceptions... Threw for 252 yards and two touchdowns while leading Kansas to a 28-point comeback win against Colorado.

At Snow Junior College: Was a second-team all-conference selection as both a freshman and sophomore... Twice earned national player of the week honors... Earned conference offensive player of the week three times as a sophomore... As a sophomore he completed 202 of 323 passes for 3,091 yards, 40 touchdowns and 11 interceptions... His 257 passing yards per game ranked fifth in the nation... He led the Badgers to a 10-2 record and a national ranking of fifth... As a freshman he played in 10 games completing 128 of 212 passes for 1,851 yards, 25 touchdowns and just five interceptions... Team was 11-0.

High School: Was a high school all-state first-team selection after leading his team to the state championship for the second-straight season his senior year.
