After spending eight seasons at the offensive coordinator and offensive line coach at Washburn, Brian Miller enters his second year at Kansas as the offensive graduate assistant.
Under his direction Washburn produced some of the best offensive performances in school history. The Ichabods registered four of the top seven total offensive seasons in school history and four of the top nine passing seasons in his tenure. In 2005 Washburn set single-season school records for most passing yards, total offense, passing touchdowns, first downs and points.
Miller was the offensive coordinator at Minnesota-Crookston from 1997-2001 before joining the staff at Washburn. Miller also coached at Northern State, serving as the special teams coordinator, while working with the defensive line one season and the running backs for one year.
The Golden, Colo. native graduated from Hastings (Neb.) College and earned a master's degree from St. Cloud State. Miller and his wife Michelle have three children, Matt, Alex and Bailey.
