2010 (Fr.): Earned Academic All-Big 12 First Team honors... Named KU defensive player of the week vs. Texas A&M and Colorado... Was the starting nickel back and started nine games on the year... Registered 45 tackles on the year... Led the team with 10 pass break ups and tied for the team lead with two interceptions... His 1.0 passes defended per game tied for 23rd in the NCAA... His 5.5 tackles for loss tied for second on the team... Had one sack against Texas A&M... Recovered a fumble against Colorado which he returned 28 yards for a touchdown... Personal: Son of Shaun and Todd Patmon... Has one brother and two sisters... Father played football at Central Oklahoma, while both grandfathers played college football (one at Oklahoma and one at Oklahoma State)... Two uncles also played football at Oklahoma...
