2010 (Jr.): Earned Academic All-Big 12 Second Team honors... Named KU offensive player of the week vs. North Dakota State, Baylor and Oklahoma State... Started the last 11 games at wide receiver, while playing in all 12 contests... Led the team with 60 receptions, the third-most by a Jayhawk leader in the last 26 seasons... Led team with 487 receiving yards... His two touchdown catches tied for second on the team... Caught at least one pass in all 12 games... Had at least five catches in nine games, including eight consecutive... Best reception total was eight against Colorado for 75 yards... Had a season-best 85 yards on seven receptions against Georgia Tech... Touchdown catches came against Georgia Tech and at Baylor... Returned punts and averaged 3.8 yards on 13 returns.
2009 (So.): Was a fourth-team Phil Steele MagazineAll-Big 12 selection... Earned Academic All-Big 12 Second Team honors... Named KU's defensive player of the week vs. Southern Mississippi... Started the first six games at left cornerback before coming off the bench in the second half of the season... Was 10th on the team with 31 tackles... Recorded an interception against Duke... Broke up five passes to rank third on the team in that category... Broke up three passes against Southern Mississippi... Best tackle totals were eight against Duke and six against UTEP... Returned 21 punts for an 8.0 average... Had a season-long return of 49 yards at UTEP... Had a 32-yard return at Texas.
2008 (Fr.): Earned KU's Don Fambrough Unselfish Player award... A talented and versatile true freshman who started the season at wide receiver before moving to cornerback for the last half of the year... Started two games at wide receiver and the final six games of the year at cornerback... The team's punt returner all season... Was one of just three players in the NCAA to have started on offense and defense during the season... In seven games at corner he recorded 21 tackles while breaking up two passes... Had six tackles at Nebraska, five vs. K-State and four vs. Missouri and Minnesota... Had 14 catches in the first four games... Top effort was eight receptions for 130 yards and two touchdowns against Louisiana Tech in his second career game... Began collegiate career with a 75-yard punt return for a TD in the season opener against FIU.
High School: An all-state first team selection as a wide receiver as well as an all-district pick as a senior... Named all-state first team as a kick returner... Played in the Max Emfinger all-american game... A Rivals.com Texas top 100 selection... Earned academic all-state honorable mention honors... Had 69 receptions for 826 yards and 12 TDs as a senior... Returned kickoffs and punts as a senior with a 29.3 kickoff return average and a 21.6 punt return average... Had two kickoff returns for scores and one punt return for a touchdown... Had 40 catches for 493 yards and four scores as a junior... Lettered in track and field, and set school records in the triple jump and in the 4x200 relay... National Honor Society member.
