Career Honors: 2005: KU Scout Team Offensive Player of the Week vs. Texas.
2008 (Jr.): The second-leading rusher on the team with 309 yards on 59 carries... His 5.2 yards per rush topped the team... Lost only three yards on the season... Started against Sam Houston State and Iowa State... Had rushing attempts in each of the first five games of the year... Rushed 15 times for a season and career-best 84 yards against Louisiana Tech... Next best game was 16 rushes for 61 yards vs. Sam Houston State... Had rushing attempts in three of the final eight games of the year, rushing for 26 yards vs. Texas Tech, 28 vs. Kansas State and 28 vs. Texas... Caught 17 passes for 82 yards on the year... Also saw time on special teams.
2007 (So.): Played as a reserve running back and a special teams contributor... Carried the ball 17 times for 98 yards and two scores... First action of the year came against Baylor when he rushed eight times for 47 yards and one touchdown... Also caught two passes for 14 yards against the Bears... Rushed six times for 17 yards against Nebraska and three times for 34 yards and another touchdown against Iowa State.
2006 (Fr.): Did not participate after suffering a season-ending injury near the start of the 2006 campaign.
2005 (RS): Redshirted... Gained experience on the offensive scout team as he adjusted to the college game... Awarded Offensive Scout Team Player of the Week by the coaching staff for his work leading up to the Texas game.
High School: Named an all-district second team running back by the Abilene Reporter-News in 2004... Earned all-county honors following his senior season... Gathered varsity letters in football, basketball and track for the Yellow Jackets... Earned all-district honors in both basketball and track... Once rushed for 234 yards and four touchdowns in a single game... Returned a kickoff 96 yards for a touchdown in a game against Midlothian... Coached in football by Mickey Finley.
