2010 (So.): Started at safety for the first nine games of the season before an injury kept him out of the final three games... Still recorded 48 tackles in three-fourths of the season... His 48 tackles at the time of his injury were fourth on the team... Forced and recovered a fumble at Iowa State... Had a career-high 12 tackles at Baylor... Registered six tackles in each of the three games after the Baylor contest.
2009 (Fr.): Earned CollegeFootballNews.com Freshman All-America honorable mention honors... Was named to The Sporting News Freshman All-Big 12 team... Started six straight games at free safety starting with the sixth game of the season at Colorado... Played in 11 games before missing the season finale with an injury suffered early against Texas...
