2008 (Fr.): Earned Phil Steele Freshman All-America Third Team honors... A redshirt freshman who started all 13 games on the season... Started the first four games at left tackle before moving to right tackle for the remainder of the year.
2007 (RS): Redshirted his first year at Kansas.
High School: An all-state first team and all-Northeast Ohio selection... Also named all-county and all-Northeastern Conference... Ranked as the seventh-best lineman in the state of Ohio by Rivals.com... Helped his high school team to a 6-4 record and first outright league title in 43 years... Lettered in football, basketball and track and field for the Raiders... Averaged 12 points, 12 rebounds and five blocks per game on the basketball court... Was second in the shot put as a senior... Coached in football by Devlin Culliver.
Personal: Born in Painesville, Ohio... Major is communications... Would like to start a private practice in psychology and also become a motivational speaker... Hobbies include church, fishing and spending time with family... Plays the piano and saxophone... Does pencil art as well... Son of Julie McClain and Tyrone Humphries... Has three brothers and three sisters.
