2012 (So.): Played in eight games... Did not see action against Oklahoma State, Texas, Baylor or Texas Tech... Recorded seven tackles on the season, including a TFL for a loss of four yards... Made two tackles, including a solo TFL, in Jayhawk debut against South Dakota State... Added an assisted stop at Northern Illinois... Collected a solo tackle against Iowa State... Registered a career-high three solo tackles at West Virginia. 2011 (At Georgia Military Academy): Made 26 total stops during his sophomore year at Georgia Military College, including 10 solo tackles... Also recorded three TFLs and two interceptions... Coached by Bert Williams at Georgia Military College. High School: Earned All-Region honors his senior season at Northwestern HS... Recorded 95 tackles, eight TFLs, five sacks and three interceptions... Ranked the 13th best player in the state of South Carolina following his senior season... Also earned two letters in track and field... Placed second in the state meet in the discus his senior year. Personal: Would like to major in Physical Education at Kansas... Chose Kansas over Louisville, Iowa State, Indiana and South Alabama... Lists Larry Shaw as his mentor. |
