Followed that up with eight tackles and two sacks, while playing defensive line in 2012... Played for coach Gene Murphy at HCC.

High School: Earned four letters playing for coach Zach Grady at Murrah HS... Selected to play in the Bernard Blackwell All-Star Classic following his senior season at MHS... Member of the A-list honor roll... Also lettered in track and field at Murrah.

Personal: Chose Kansas over offers from Iowa State, Memphis, Mississippi State and Texas Tech... Son of Cheryl and Lindsey Johnson.
