High School: Arrived on campus for spring of 2009... A three-year letterwinner at Olathe North HS... Played tight end and defensive end... Was an all-state, all-league and all-city selection... Team was 8-3 on the season and advanced to the second round of the state playoffs... As a junior he recorded 80 tackles and 12 sacks while earning all-league second team honors...
