Hawkinson and McDougald Take Part In 2013 NFL Combine

LAWRENCE, Kan. - Kansas outgoing seniors Tanner Hawkinson and Bradley McDougald took part in the 2013 NFL Combine over the past several days. Hawkinson, who took part in the offensive line drills, and McDougald, who took part in the defensive back drills, each turned in solid performances over the five-day event held in Indianapolis, Ind. Hawkinson turned in the following numbers at the combine: 5.07 (40-yard dash), 28.5 (vertical leap), 9 feet 4 inches (broad jump), 7.52 (three-cone drill) and 4.51 20-yard shuttle). McDougald checked in with the following numbers at the combine: 4.74 (40-yard dash), 19 (bench press reps), 34.5 (vertical leap), 10 feet 2 inches (broad jump), 7.07 (three-cone drill) and 4.44 (20-yard shuttle). Kansas will hold its annual Pro Day on Friday, March 15 with Hawkinson, McDougald and several other Jayhawk prospects will work out in hopes of impressing NFL personnel.
