Kansas Football Hosting Walk-On Tryouts

LAWRENCE, Kan. - Kansas Football will be hosting walk-on tryouts in March for any full-time KU student who has a cumulative grade point average of 2.75 or above. KU students who meet the academic qualifications and are interested in trying out to be a walk-on candidate for the football team should contact assistant director of football operations Scott Vestal via email at svestal72@ku.edu. Position players will report to the Anderson Family Football Complex at 5:45 p.m., Monday, March 12 for measurables. The actual tryout will take place Tuesday through Thursday, March 13-15. Position players will report each evening dressed and ready at 5:45 p.m. Specialists, including kickers, punters and long snappers, will report to the Anderson Family Football Complex Monday, March 26 at 5:45 p.m., for measurables.
