In a back-and-forth game on Wednesday night, the Wichita State Shockers defeated the Kansas Jayhawks 7-6 at Eck Stadium. Wichita State’s Mauricio Milan hit a walk-off single with two outs in the ninth inning to win the game.

Kansas softball dropped its first game of the week at Nebraska, 4-0, Tuesday night at Bowlin Stadium in Lincoln.

Both sophomore Will King and senior Davis Cooper tied for 13th place as the Kansas men's golf team finished in a tie for seventh at the Cowboy Classic on Tuesday, posting a team score of 848 (-16) in the 23-team field.

Kansas will play at Wichita State on Wednesday night at 6 p.m. CT at Eck Stadium. The Jayhawks have won five of their last seven games after earning a sweep at BYU this past weekend.

Kansas center Hunter Dickinson has been named to the Wooden Award 2023-24 Men’s Basketball All American Team, the Los Angeles Athletic Club announced Tuesday evening on ESPN2.

Maureen “Mo” Sheehan, a widely renowned coach who swam at the University of Kansas and served the swimming community for 38 years, passed away on March 17 at 65 years old.

Ainsley Dillon, Hailey Farrell, Brigid Gwidt and Lize van Leeuwen were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team for their performance in the pool and the classroom. All four KU honorees were nominated with a 4.00 cumulative grade point average (GPA).

Kansas Baseball will be hosting its second annual Autism Awareness Game on Saturday, April 6. The Jayhawks take on the West Virginia Mountaineers at 2 p.m. CT and will be wearing special uniforms that feature a puzzle design to help raise awareness for autism.

Senior Davis Cooper is in a tie for fourth place after a season-low round of 66 (-6) to open the Cowboy Classic at Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club and Kansas, as a team, is tied for fifth at -16 amongst the 23-team field.

Kansas seniors Jake English and Reese Dutton each received Big 12 weekly honors, the conference office announced Monday. English was named the Big 12 Player of the Week and Dutton was selected as Big 12 Co-Newcomer of the Week.
