Baseball Sunflower Showdown
KU Spring Game & Alumni Football

April 16, 2005

Coach Mangino and Director of Athletics Lew Perkins helped introduce KU's new captains - Charles Gordon, Banks Floodman, Kevin Kane, Nick Reid and David Ochoa.

During the alumni touch football game, Keith Loneker was stopped by Ray Hoover.

Hoover's son, Bobby, worked the sidelines hoping to capture a photo of his father.

Charley Bowen just missed pulling in a pass over Kareem High.

Legendary KU quarterback Bobby Douglass still had plenty of zip on his passes.

The white team seemed to have some trouble figuring out the plays called by John Hadl.

Jeff Snyder raced down field after an interception.

Honorary coaches Don Davis and Dana Stubblefield watched the action.

In the game of touch, even a seeming high five was enough to keep Wint Winter from scoring.

After the game, Grant Thierolf was greeted by former coach Don Fambrough.
