Times Set For Kansas' First Three Football Games of 2012 Season

IRVING, Texas – Game times for Kansas’ first three football games of the 2012 season have been set as released by the Big 12 Conference office Friday. KU will introduce the Charlie Weis era when it plays host to South Dakota State on Sept. 1 at 6 p.m. (Central) at Memorial Stadium. In their second game of the season, the Jayhawks will host Rice on Sept. 8 at 2:30 p.m. Kansas’ first conference contest of 2012 has TCU traveling to Lawrence on Sept. 15 for an 11 a.m. kick off. Television plans are still being formulated through the Big 12 Conference office and will be announced as soon as finalized. Released times reflect the schedule for the first three weeks of September while the remaining games times for the 2012 season will be determined during the natural 12-day/six-day selection process.
