Tony Pierson - Business is Good (Video)
Sept. 19, 2012
Kansas sophomore running back Tony Pierson says he's focused on staying humble and going about his business on the field. Through three games this year, business is good. Pierson is the Jayhawks leader with 279 yards on 48 carries and has scored two touchdowns. Pierson and fellow tailback Taylor Cox have accounted for the bulk of the Jayhawks' carries this season and will get an added boost when senior running back James Sims returns to the rotation this weekend.
In addition to averaging just under six yards per carry, Pierson showed off his versatility with six catches in the Jayhawks' loss to No. 15 TCU. Pierson and the Jayhawks travel to Northern Illinois for a 2:30 p.m. game Saturday. The game will be carried worldwide on ESPN3.com. |
