Calling All Students: Charlie Weis Footing The Bill For KU Students' Entrance To Senior Night Game
Nov. 15, 2012
LAWRENCE, Kan. -- In an effort to send his 2012 senior class out with a fitting farewell, Kansas football head coach Charlie Weis is offering to foot the bill for all KU students seeking admittance to Saturday's ‘Senior Night’ game versus Iowa State. Students must enter through the student entrance, located on the Northeast side of Memorial Stadium. A valid KU Student ID must be presented upon entrance and seats are available on a first come basis. The student gates open two hours prior to kickoff. Weis will pay for all KU students without previously purchased tickets who arrive at the student entrance between 4-6 p.m., on a first come, first serve basis. The Jayhawks' game against the Cyclones is scheduled to kickoff at 6 p.m., at Memorial Stadium. KU will honor its 23-member senior class approximately 30 minutes prior to kick off.
