WDAF (FOX 4) To Carry Insight Bowl On New Year’s Eve
LAWRENCE, Kan. – An agreement between the Insight Bowl and the NFL Network will allow WDAF (FOX 4) television in Kansas City to carry the NFL Network’s broadcast of the 2008 Insight Bowl football game featuring Kansas and Minnesota. The game will be played in Tempe, Ariz. on Dec. 31 and will kick off at 5 p.m. Central time.
“It is important to us that as many of our fans as possible have access to the telecast of this game," said Kansas Director of Athletics Lew Perkins. "We want to thank the Insight Bowl and the NFL Network for helping to make this happen."
Perkins said discussions are continuing to make the telecast available to television stations in the state of Kansas.
