Iowa Offers Last Chance Tune-Up for Kansas Men's Golf

Jayhawks tee off Saturday at 9 a.m.

PRIOR TO KANSAS: Turned in back-to-back top-50 performances at the NJCAA National Championship while at Hutchinson (Kan.) Community College... Finished in the top-10 in five Jayhawk Conference golf tournaments during his sophomore season while earning All-Jayhawk Conference Second Team honors... Was the No. 3-ranked golfer in District III prior to finishing the 2012 NJCAA Division I National Championship at Sand Creek Station (Newton, Kan.) in 37th... Led the field at the halfway point of the 2011 NJCAA Championship on the Odessa (Texas) Country Club Links Course and was in contention for the individual title until the final holes... Finished 23rd.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Colby High School... Logged back-to-back third place finishes at the KSHSAA Class 4A State Championship as a junior and senior... Three-time Northwest Kansas League Champion and four-time Northwest KAnsas League First Team selection... Finished second at the 2010 Kansas Junior Amateur Championship...
