Gilbert Paces Kansas Golf In Phoenix Tournament

The teams used two courses at Tucson National, playing the par-72 Catalina Course in rounds one and three and the par-70 Sonoran Course for the second round. As a team the Jayhawks shot 18-over par in the first round, 10-over in the second round and 19-over in the third round. Gilbert posted the best round for the Jayhawks with a one-over par 72 on the second day. He shot 75 and 77 in the first and third rounds for a 223 total. The sophomore has finished among the top 30 in all nine tournaments this season.
