Jayhawks Tied For Tenth At NCAA Central Regional

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - The University of Kansas men's golf team shot a 294 in the second round of the NCAA Central Regionals at Warren Golf Course in South Bend, Ind. KU's two-round total of 583 places them in 10th place in the 27-team tournament. "We are in an okay position heading into tomorrow," head coach Ross Randall said. "If we can come out and play like I know we are capable, we have a great chance of advancing to the NCAA Championships." Senior Kevin Ward leads the Jayhawks as he is tied for fourth with a 139 after his 71 today. Sophomore Gary Woodland is tied for 27th with a 144 after he fired a 74 in Friday's round. Sophomore Tyler Docking fired a 75 today and is tied for 73rd with a 150. Senior Andrew Price shot a 74 and is also tied for 73rd with a 150. Junior Luke Trammell carded an 82 and is tied for 133rd with a 159.
