Men's Golf Finishes In 10th at The Windon Memorial

Lake Forest, Ill. - The No. 17 Kansas men's golf team finished in 10th place, in an 18-team field, at the Windon Memorial at Conway Farms G.C. in Lake Forest, Ill. The Jayhawks posted rounds of 305, 296 and 293, respectively, to give them a three round total of 894. Northwestern, the host team, took home first place honors with a combined score of 865, while Duke came in second after posting an 869. Sophomore Barrett Martens lead the Jayhawks after firing a three day total of 220 to tie for 19th. Senior Kevin Ward finished in a tie for 26th after a two day total of 221. Senior Andrew Price tied for 55th after carding a three-round total of 228. Sophomore Tyler Docking tied for 64th place after he totaled a 230. Junior Ryan Rainer finished in a tie for 70th after totaling a 231. Kansas will be off until The Nelson-Stanford Invitational on October 22-24 in Palo Alto, Calif.
