Kansas Places Fourth At 2006 Ron Moore Invitational
March 21, 2006 GOODYEAR, Ariz. - The University of Kansas men's golf team finished in fourth place, in a 17-team field, at the 2006 Ron Moore Invitational in Goodyear, Ariz. Kansas shot a final round of 287 for a two day total of 841 at the par-72 Palm Valley GC. Lousiville finished in first after posting a score of 836, followed by Nebraska with a 837. Senior Pete Krsnich placed fourth after a final round of 72 for a 207 total. Junior Gary Woodland shot a final round of 70 for a total of 208, good for a tenth place tie. Senior Luke Trammell tied for 18th after a 71 for a 212 total. Junior Tyler Docking tied for 34th after a 74 for a 216 total. Junior Barrett Martens shot a final round 75 to tie for 66th after totaling a 221. The Jayhawks will next be in action March 27-28 at the 60th Western Intercollegiate in Santa Cruz, Calif.
