Jayhawks Head West to Compete in Ron Moore Invitational

LAWRENCE, KAN. - The Kansas men's golf team continues its spring season as it heads to Goodyear, Ariz. to compete in the Ron Moore Invitational March 21-23. The 17-team even will be conducted at Palm Valley Golf Club (par-72, 7015 yards). This will be the Jayhawks first ever entry into the event which is hosted by Denver and Iowa State. The event consists of one round played each day over the three-day event. The Jayhawks are coming off a 10th place finish at the Cajun Classic. Freshman Brad Hopfinger led the Jayhawks with a 17th place finish. Hopfinger has led the Jayhawks in scoring average during the spring season with an average of 73.67.
