Jayhawks Tied for Fourth After Round One at Big 12 Championship

HUTCHINSON, Kan. - The Kansas men’s golf team shot a first round 298 at Prairie Dunes Country Club to stand tied for fourth place at the Big 12 Championship. The second round is underway and can be tracked live at www.golfstat.com. Senior Zach Pederson carded the best round of his senior season in round one with a 71 and is tied for third place entering round two. Pederson fired three birdies during his round. Senior Andrew Storm and sophomore Nate Barbee both carded rounds of 76 during round one and are tied for 14th place. Junior Bryan Hackenberg fired a 76 to enter round two tied of 31st place. Senior Walt Koelbel shot an 84 and is in 55th place after round one.
