Jeff Bell Finishes Second After Dropping Playoff at Kansas Public Links Championship

MANHATTAN, Kan. - Junior Jeff Bell lost in a playoff to finish in second place at the 16th Annual Kansas Public Links Championship at Colbert Hills Golf Club. Bell shot rounds of 72 and 73 to tie Ross Gebeulle and force a playoff. Bell would fall on the third playoff hole. Bell joined the Kansas men’s golf program at the beginning the 2009-10 season and made an immediate impact. Bell made eight appearances including two top-20 finishes. Bell tied for fifth place at the Jim Colbert Intercollegiate, also played at Colbert Hills. Former Jayhawk Conrad Roberts tied for third place and finished two strokes behind Bell.
