KU Golfer Member of Award Winning Engineering Team
Aug. 22, 2005 Lawrence, Kan. - Jayhawk golfer Tyler Docking was part of a four-member team that won the "Access to Fun" engineering design competition named last week. Docking and teammates Matthew Hess, Carla Hines, and Francis Hitschmann won the contest that was sponsored by the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions and the U.S. Access Board. The entrants were charged with developing new designs that would allow for greater disabled access on amusement park rides and attractions.
